Trenton Youth Wrestling and Learning Center will build a permanent facility on a historic site in Trenton, NJ, creating a dynamic home for young athletes and the community. This state-of-the-art center will be designed to meet the evolving needs of our student-athletes, featuring dedicated training spaces for wrestling and complementary fitness regimens, as well as educational support services to help young people excel both on and off the mat. The facility will also serve as the headquarters for our leadership team and provide space for a variety of ancillary services, including after-school tutoring, counseling, and health and wellness programs.
To foster a sense of community, the center will include a gathering hall for special events, activities, and programs that bring people together and strengthen our mission. A key priority is the empowerment of girls in wrestling, with plans to create a full-time Director of Girls’ Development position—a coach and community outreach leader who will build on our success as one of the leading girls' wrestling teams in the state. By increasing enrollment among elementary and middle school girls, we aim to inspire and grow the next generation of champions.
As we advance these initiatives, we are also committed to expanding the breadth and depth of our services. Our holistic approach includes strengthening the center’s organizational foundations, professionalizing operations, and establishing a robust volunteer program. Together, these efforts will ensure that the Trenton Youth Wrestling and Learning Center becomes a beacon of empowerment, health, and wellness for young people in Trenton and beyond.
